About us
Its Founders were regional educational initiatives together with largest foreign companies which have invested
in Lower Silesia, like VOLVO or Cadbury and diplomatic representation of their countries, among them the General
Consul of Germany and the Consuls of Great Britain and France. The Foundation is mainly known for its primary and
secondary school "Atut" ,
which educates Polish children in a bilingual system meeting the recommendations of
IBO in Geneva, also the first international school in our region - Wroclaw International School
(WIS) - with English as a language of instruction, opened in 2002.
The school is a full member of European Council of International Schools.
It educates foreigners, who are mainly the children of staff of the foreign companies with bases in Lower Silesia. Throughout the region the Foundation is known for its scholarship programme the
"zDolny Śląsk"
("Talented Lower Silesia"), which it began 2001 in co-operation with the Lower Silesian Marshal's Office.
