It was a big weekend for Wolves basketball, with all three teams competing in PAAC tournaments across Poland — and making us proud!
Our Middle School Boys traveled to Krakow for the tournament hosted by Embassy International School (EIS), where they dominated the group stage with a perfect 4-0 record. In the final, they faced the American School of Warsaw (ASW) and delivered a commanding 47–33 victory to become PAAC Champions! Tymek led the team with an impressive 24 points per game. Huge congratulations to Coach Jan and the team!
Meanwhile in Warsaw, our High School Boys took part in a competitive tournament hosted by The British School Warsaw (TBS). After sweeping their group-stage games and winning the semi-final against ISK, the Wolves played a tough final against ASW. Despite a close battle, they finished as runners-up, losing by just 3 points. A great performance from start to finish!
Back in Krakow, our High School Girls team competed in the PAAC Girls tournament hosted by the International School of Krakow (ISK). They kicked things off with some fun team-building at an escape room before taking to the court for four hard-fought matches. After an opening win, the Lady Wolves dropped two tough games, but bounced back in the 3rd place match. Trailing at halftime against ISK, they surged ahead with a 10–0 run in the third quarter and secured 3rd place. The team also showed incredible spirit in a comeback attempt against TBS, closing a 15-point gap to just 6 in the final quarter.
Well done to all our athletes and coaches for their passion, teamwork, and resilience.
GO WOLVES!
